1. Choose a nickname for yourself (or if you are already established as a doom player with a nickname, you will probably want to use that nickname for the ladders).

2. Read about and download the CMAT bot. The CMAT documentation is here , and the cmat zipfile is here .

3. Use the CMAT package to make your recordings. The CMAT bot is not easy to kill for average players, and it is both a training tool and a ratings calculator, so if this is your first time using it do not be surprised if you cannot kill it right away.

4. When you get a recording that you want to use for one or more of the ladders, zip up the recording and email it to bahdko@erols.com . ALWAYS make the subject of your email be "CMAT LADDER ENTRY", in all caps. Save your recording somewhere on your hard drive in case the email gets lost and you need to resend it. Make sure to include in your email:

• Your ladder nickname,
• The names of the ladders for which the entry is intended,
• The applicable CMAT statistics for the intended ladders:
  

  • Core CMAT for Core CMAT ladder;
  • Number of hits and number of misses for Accuracy Ladder,
  • Average Hitpoint Infliction (AHI) for the AHI ladder.
    

5. The frequency with which the ladder is updated with new entries is not yet established. Hopefully it can be done daily, or within a few days of entries being submitted.
