What to bring

(1) Your computer and all of your needed accessories, including whatever you like to sit your monitor on top of to raise your monitor up. It is possible to fly on an airplane with your computer, btw, email me if you want some information on how this can be done. If you are unable to bring your monitor, I may be able to borrow one locally for you, but I probably can borrow no more than 1 monitor so if too many people do this, we will be short on equipment.

(2) If your PC does not have a network card, you should try to get one in it and get it working for IPX networking, if you know how. If you don't, buy the card and I'll help you get it working. Make sure it (1) comes with drivers for the operating system you use to connect in Doom (if you shut all the way down to DOSmode, you need dos-level drivers (sometimes called Win3.x) and (2) it is a kind of card that you have a slot open for on your motherboard. PCI and ISA cards do not plug into the same kinds of slots. ISA are the long black card slots. PCI are the shorter, whitish-colored slots. If you have a choice, get one that does both 10b2 and 10bt (the 10bt-only ones are more common, and will work fine).

(3) Working headphones. Working means you tested them with your system while running Doom2 and it worked ok for you.

(4) If you want to bring your computer chair, feel free. I take my chair to almost all netparties, but then again I am kind of strange.

(5) If you will be sleeping here, it would be ideal to bring your pillow(s) and things to sleep on. Let me know what you'll be bringing so I can be prepared.

If you are coming from a super long distance away and want to stay longer than just the weekend, that's fine. Just tell me in advance what your plans are.
