1. General information|
You live in (city & country):
Your birthdate (or age):
Some jobs here, some jobs there. A listless graduate.
Um, lots of stuff
Anything you want to add here (about yourself):
2. DOOM-related information
Your DOOM config (key bindings, controllers):
left, right, up, down - 4, 6, 8, 2
strafe left - 1
strafe right - 3
fire - ctrl
open - /

Autorun is set with joyb_speed.
Size of DOOM directory on your HD:
It's spread over about seven directories, but all up I've got
around 1.4gig of Doom materials on my HD. Jesus.
First contact to COMPET-N (when, how etc.):
In October '97 I saw a story on Doomworld about Panter's
First COMPET-N demo:
Favourite COMPET-N demo(s) from yourself (the one(s) that you're most proud of):
I'm not that proud of many of them, most of my demos are pretty
slow and I just uploaded anything that was a record. pa15-315 is one
of my favorites because it was such a hardworked demo, and I am quite
fond of my recent 30nm :)
Favourite COMPET-N demo(s) from others:
Henning's 30nm3413. Sedlo's pl12-010. Adam's LV07 demos. But
it's just too hard to pick a favorite demo, let alone a favorite player.
Vile, Anders, Henning, Vince, Radek, Panter, Adam, Adam, Yonatan, Peo,
Anthe, Demonlord, Kai-Uwe (I hope I'm making my point here Also,
just because a demo is faster doesn't mean it's better to watch. I
like some of the earliest Compet-N demos purely for their focus on style
rather than raw speed. The Doom2 TGM collection is a great example of
Favourite DOOM or DOOM2 map:
e4m6 and LV17. Romero is still the best.
Hell Revealed, too much fun to be legal. Though Scythe would
have to be up there too.
Do you like Quake?
mouselook. Nuff said :)
What do you think of DOOM now?
I still think this game rules.
Anything you want to add here:
Last time I checked Ryback was in the all time top 10 for most single player demos produced. He's done loads of
demos for each category and all of the WADs. Especially -fast demos, anyone remember the HR -fast ones? well
you should check them out. These are remarkable achievements by a keyboarder, which he recently crowned with
a DOOM2 NightMare Run - pretty much the pinnacle of keyboard playing in DOOM.
