Forget about Freeman... :: (30th September, 2003)

... for a little while, at least. We, of course, still have a lot of stuff on offer today. New contest: soon :) Now, on to the usual big bunch of demos... Ultimate DOOM goodies: Radek Pecka improved two Max runs, E2M4 to 4:25 and E2M5 to 4:35. He also improved E1M7 -fast to 2:40, E2M2 -fast to 3:27 and E2M4 -fast to 5:04. Xit Vono improved the Ep3 NM100S movie to 9:35, as well as NM100S for E1M2 in 0:57, E3M3 to 1:15 and E3M4 to 1:29. Radek Pecka improved E3M3 to 1:11 and E3M4 to 1:23. DOOM2 demos: For DOOM2, we have a lot of quality movies this time. Juho "ocelot" Ruohonen is back with a MAP01-10 NM movie (highly recommended), time is 7:11. Radek Pecka did loads of movies... he did a NightMare run in 37:40 (2nd place), an UV run in 26:59 (2nd place), a -fast run in 2:08:04, a 11-20 UV run in 9:52 and a 21-30 UV run in 9:19. Jakub "method_man" Razak improved two NM speedruns: MAP21 to 0:27 and MAP26 to 0:46. Jakub "DooMerMan" Machata sent two interesting tricks in MAP11, one for single player and one for coop. Plutonia runs: Only 3 demos this time, Casey Alvis improved MAP24 -respawn to 3:17 and MAP30 -respawn to 0:58 while Jakub "method_man" Razak improved MAP01 NM100S to 1:05. TNT demos: Serge "Never_Again" Marudov is the first guy to get the first 10 maps of TNT down in UV Max style. His time is 61:54. Jakub "method_man" Razak did some Max stuff: MAP11 in 3:42, MAP13 in 4:36. He also did a -fast of MAP11 in 4:06 and a -respawn of MAP11 in 2:58. Other highlights: MAP13 -fast in 5:49, MAP17 -fast in 3:36, MAP30 -fast in 3:36, MAP13 NM100S in 2:37, MAP17 NM100S in 1:14 and MAP29 NM in 2:47. Tomas "DeDo" Kollar also contributed: MAP04 -fast in 7:45, MAP09 -fast in 8:20, MAP29 -fast in 10:30 and MAP31 Max in 7:44. Xit Vono improved NM100S runs for MAP12 (0:50), MAP14 (5:20), MAP17 (1:09, improved by method_man's 1:06) and NM for MAP17 (0:44). Other TNT runs from various players: Chris "DevastatioN" Felix did MAP23 Speed in 0:30, Jakub "DooMerMan" Machata did MAP30 Speed in 1:26 and MAP17 -respawn in 2:36. Casey Alvis did MAP31 -fast in 7:40 and David "mr. twister" Ficenec did MAP24 Pacifist in 0:41. Alien Vendetta runs: Jakub "DooMerMan" Machata continued doing speedruns for AV: MAP03 in 1:29, MAP04 in 1:43, MAP16 in 3:52 and MAP30 in 0:59. He also did MAP30 NM in 0:59, MAP03 -respawn in 2:32 and MAP04 Tyson in 13:33. Jakub "method_man" Razak also sent a handful of demos: MAP11 NM in 1:32, MAP23 NM in 1:03 and MAP05 -respawn in 2:14 (beating Jochen Schneidau's in 2:27). He also did MAP11 Speed in 0:51 and MAP19 Speed in 4:34 as well as MAP19 Max in 15:21. Radek Pecka did a NM for MAP32 in 0:45 which was beaten by Erik Alm's 0:44 and re-taken by Radek with 0:43. Finally, Jochen Schneidau did a -fast of MAP05 in 3:40. Hell Revealed demos: Jakub "DooMerMan" Machata just can't stop playing HR: MAP02 in 0:42, MAP05 in 2:12, MAP06 in 1:12, MAP07 in 4:08, MAP08 in 0:34, MAP09 in 1:01, MAP10 in 0:36, MAP15 secret exit in 0:45, MAP31 in 2:19. He also did MAP02 -respawn in 2:10, MAP02 -fast in 2:37, MAP07 -fast in 5:08, MAP10 Pacifist in 0:38 and finally MAP04 Tyson in 7:02. Jakub "method_man" Razak did MAP24 UV Speed in 0:20. Requiem stuff: Tomas "DeDo" Kollar did two demos for MAP08: -fast in 14:37 and -respawn in 11:26. Memento Mori demos: Tomas "DeDo" Kollar improved a couple of -fast runs: MAP03 to 1:30, MAP04 to 9:52, MAP05 to 7:30, MAP06 to 7:40, MAP07 to 11:26, MAP10 to 6:37 and MAP14 to 5:41. Oyvind Stenhaug continued doing runs for MM: MAP04 -fast in 8:53, MAP06 -fast in 7:24, MAP19 Max in 4:56, MAP22 Max in 7:45 MAP27 Speed in 3:54, MAP08 NM in 0:21 and MAP25 Pacifist in 0:29. DeDo improved two maps further, MAP04 -fast to 8:16 and MAP06 -fast to 7:22. Oyvind took them back quickly soon (MAP04 7:01, MAP06 6:29). Casey Alvis did a NM100S run for MAP08 in 1:16. Memento Mori 2 demos: Actually, only one demo, Tomas "DeDo" Kollar did MAP17 -fast in 15:52. Cooperative runs: Ultimate DOOM coop: Jakub "method_man" Razak and Ondrej "RaideR" Vosatka did three UV Episode runs together, Episode 2 in 4:25, Episode 3 in 4:03. method_man also did Episode 4 in 4:09 with Adolf "Gusta" Vojta. Vincent Catalaa and Kim "Torn" Bach did an Episode 2 Max movie in 21:22. Vincent teamed up with Michael "OgreSlayR" Lastovica to do some runs: E1M2 Max in 1:10, E1M2 Pacifist in 0:31, E2M1 Pacifist in 0:35, E4M1 Max in 1:39, E4M8 Max in 1:41 and E4M3 Pacifist in 0:09. Jakub "method_man" Razak and Adolf "Gusta" Vojta did a few runs themselves: E2M9 NM in 0:07, E3M7 NM100S in 0:43, E4M7 Pacifist in 0:12. method_man also teamed up with Radek Pecka for E2M2 Max (2:12) and Vincent Catalaa for E3M7 NM (0:52). DOOM2 coop: Jakub "method_man" Razak and Adolf "Gusta" Vojta got together for a 01-10 UV Run of 5:50. They also did MAP27 NM in 0:14. Vincent Catalaa and Michael "OgreSlayR" Lastovica did some more demos together: MAP18 Max in 2:11, MAP02 Tyson in 2:53 and MAP03 Tyson in 3:18. method_man teamed up with Radek Pecka to do a MAP04 speed of 0:28, while Jakub "DooMerMan" Machata and newcomer Petr "McRocet" Urban did MAP31 secret exit in 0:34. Finally, David "mr.twister" Ficenec and Adam "Hokis" Hochmann did MAP10 Pacifist in 0:32. TNT coop: Vincent Catalaa and Michael "OgreSlayR" Lastovica recorded TNT, as well: MAP31 Speed in 0:27. Vincent also recorded a MAP18 Speed of 1:58 with Casey Alvis. Jakub "method_man" Razak and Matej Razak did MAP12 Speed in 0:43 and NM in 0:44. method_man also did a MAP17 Speed of 2:13 with Adolf "Gusta" Vojta. Finally, Jakub "DooMerMan" Machata and Petr "McRocet" Urban did MAP30 Speed in 1:27. For AV, Jakub "DooMerMan" Machata and Petr "McRocet" Urban did MAP03 Max in 4:35, MAP04 Max in 5:25. Jakub "method_man" Razak and Adolf "Gusta" Vojta did two runs: MAP03 Max in 2:57 and MAP11 Speed in 0:35. method_man did two more, with Matej Razak: MAP30 0:23 and MAP32 0:43. For HR, DooMerMan and McRocet did MAP04 Speed in 0:23, method_man and Gusta did MAP02 Max in 2:00 and MAP22 Max in 8:33, while method_man and Matej did MAP31 Speed in 2:09. For Requiem, Tomas "DeDo" Kollar teamed up with newcomer Adam "FrostY" Dekan to produce two Max demos, MAP05 in 6:06 and MAP06 in 6:43. For MM2, Casey Alvis and Michael "OgreSlayR" Lastovica did two demos for MAP27, Speed in 0:17 and NM in 0:17. Fullzip is here.
