Abandoned Websites

35 THROUGH 44 NOT IMPLEMENTED YET. I GOT TIRED AND BORED FOR NOW. I WAS SO CLOSE!!! ...

Now a defunct address, of course. This was created in 2000 and serves as my first website that I kept over the years. I found it on a "Smart and Friendly" brand CD-R that was in a stack of a bunch of unreadables. The only other one that worked was "Loki's Realm" and "Cherry Rounders' First Album." The top left had the usual, about myself -- sign and view guestbook -- message board -- updates -- contact me and underneath that I had a blank block for my music (go figure). Under that was games with an animated quake gif. I had online games, quake, and some of my doom stuff. I unfortunately don't have the doom page as it was a link to an online server that no longer exists. the HUMOR block was going to have phone pranks, pics, flash cartoons, real audio, and other humor links. On the right we had a huge list of bands that were eventually ALL going to have their own pages. The ones in bold, such as KMFDM, had full websites to follow instead of single-page informational stuff. They were actual websites I planned on going further with. Embarassingly, there's also Insane Clown Posse on the list of those.

MUZAKFIEND'S ASYLUM
Further in the site there were very many animated 88x33 buttons of various bands, including my own hidden stuff not labelled as my own creations, such as my solo page Cherry Rounders and a trio of idiots, Poopy Booby. You can witness this unfinished work here.

Self-created pages included KMFDM, Twiztid, Insane Clown Posse, Slipknot, and Stabbing Westward, amongst a lot of empty slots. Psychotic Metal included: Slipknot and Static-X. Comedy/Humor was Bloodhound Gang, Poopy Booby, and Cherry Rounders. Alternative rap was again Twiztid and ICP as well as Kottonmouth Kings. Electronic featured KMFDM, NIN, Stabbing Westward and Fear Factory. Hip Hop Metal included: Korn, Zebrahead, and Incubus. Miscellaneous featured Soulfly+Sepultura as well as Kittie, who had just come out at the time. Some had pages almost ready but weren't linked. Soon when I don't have like 60 sites to go over, I'll fix that issue and link from site02 to the small band pages.

T A I N T E D W E B
Named after Marilyn Manson's cover (with a snippet playing) of "Tainted Love" by Softcell. This was meant to be a self-ran server with MP3s, roms, software, etc. It was also a trio of personal sites, X Celcius and Deja Vu were the other two, but they were never a thing. Though the date listed on the page is March 29th, 2022, it was set to show the exact current date, not the date of the news or website. There really isn't much else to say about this very short-lived probably one-day site. It had an alternate version that I'm assuming was the broadband/high speed version because it was slightly animated but not really. The loop also didn't play on it.

MUZAK..HUH?
Random trash website that didn't last long.

LOKI'S REALM WEBBOOK IDEA
VIEW PAGES (DON'T USE TOP MENU)
MAIN INDEX
HAS NEWS AND THINGS

What made this page interesting, other than the fact flash isn't part of browsers anymore and it's forever broken... is that the background pages to this "book" were handmade. The overlay is of a traditional single lined page. But the background layer is 9 green sheets of paper, all crinkled and wettened, some scratched with soap, some burnt a little, and all dried with a hair dryer close-up.

HATECHILD SOFTWARE
VISIT, POPUP WORKS!

I used a hand from some horror movie and a blade with another hand and black blood since it's black and white. I have no clue what movie this was originally from if it even was from a movie. The menu buttons were animated with NUKAGE1 from doom, with each frame to be re-colored purple. This was going to be for "Loki's Realm" but development ceased pretty quick.
#07 & #08
I went ahead and though small and not a filesize hog, this site was so broken in places and had little content that I just left the folder off and didn't allow visitation like the early ones. The ACIDPlanet links also, to all the music, are broken. This is because ACIDPlanet.com no longer exists.

#007 and #008 were basically the same website, with small minor improvements and broken images on the second. They both had black and white traditional windows 3.1 icons as the menu, and existed on a very small popup window. You'd have to disable your blocker to see it anyway.

THE VILLE FORUMS, 2003 ORIGINAL

This was the very first venture into forum-making that didn't work until this day because I never finish anything I start. It had 18 locations originally but I added a country and city section, which was going to branch off into a whole lot more. Fortunately, I spared myself the embarassment of not launching it because it blended a ton of stuff that didn't go together, and no one would have come.

There lied an imagemap you clicked per location to lead to a large subpage linking each forum, chats, games, and other stuff. This version didn't include those. I don't know what the hell happened to those.
#10
STATICMF.COM SUBDOMAINS

There were three subdomains of www.staticmf.com planned but the personal one wasn't really a thing. This leaves 'cherry' and 'noise,' pictured to the left. cherry was my first true attempt to keep up with the fanclub for cherry rounders, which I totally didn't expect to be a thing nor did I even mean to share the song on napster. noise was a tiny window much like the five-inch website above, but strictly for the music/cds I had at the time. the "MF" in staticmf stood for muzakfiend, not what you think.

VISIONS OF LOKI, AKA VISIONS

In 2002 I worked on a mod called Loki's Realm, which became Visions of Loki, a reboot of Nightmares of Loki with detail and an actual plot. In 2003ish I started like 11 versions of a plot and this page is all I could find with what looks to be a starting of a rewrite in html form as a website I never finished. I'll change the target frames issue later but for now I have 63 websites to link up. Enjoy!

You may visit it and look around if you'd like.
#12
VERY STRANGE VERSION OF STATICMF.COM

With an entry on the menu called "weirdo blog" and a picture of myself with fake spikes and the general look of everything, I must have been going through one weird ass phase. This was 2003ish still I think, could have been 2004 or above.

I didn't check much further in on what exactly is here this time, but you can visit for yourself if you feel the need. The opening page is timed, there's nothing clickable it just jumps soon to the next page.

NO LIMITS BLACKJACK 2005

CLEEK! This was the official website placed for a final grade with the game itself I did the music and arranged the voiceovers for with my friend Will. Todd Flanagan (Now Jennifer) did all of the industrial-looking art you see, Travis Cooley did the programming, Brian Hicks scanned cards, and voiceovers were by myself, Will, and a friend at the time Becky. The game itself was pretty fun, and at the very end of losing you get to shoot the dealer, who is Brian.

The voiceovers don't happen all the time, as it was set to infrequently happen at random. You can pick the background music and character you choose to hear on occasion, and all in all just have some fun. This was my favorite of the three games we made in college, because I guess I just love card games. You could play it for hours, unlike the other two which were two-level demos.

****#014 is basically the same music/noise small popup website as before, so I'm skipping another one!

POST-COLLEGE TRADITIONAL WEBSITE 2006-7

Visit the site! This website is the first to feature all three college games and the mario hacks. There were some websites, including a 100%-scoring class project website that was massive and made in 10 weeks, that I simply cannot find anymore. A lot of this stuff takes flash, and unfortunately as of 2020 no longer exists on browsers. There's a cherry rounders page with art I paid for by Nate Vaught (a local artist that does black metal/death metal/all metal covers usually, but made an exception for me. There's the start of "Will and Jerry" then known as "Wenis", a HUGE rendition of "The Ville" that was also never finished, and the start of a music page with my very favorite (well, minus the smaller pics added) pic of my setup in my 2006 apartment. Suprisingly, there wasn't actually a DOOM page implemented though there was a button for it. The background red/yellow/green glitchpic happened when my mom's photo printer went nuts. She knew I liked messed up glitched out stuff at the time (and still do) so she let me have it. I scanned and kept it as it would have made an excellent NIN cover back then.

FLASH NOT SUPPORTED

Unfortunately, flash is no longer, but I remember the site. I cannot show the main thing. Here, however, are several random things I found like screenshots:

Random Lofi Page Screenshot>
Ok nevermind all this... I renamed index.html so you can peruse the folder itself. Enjoy! Don't get TOO bored...

WITH THE COOL SHELF OPENING

Naturally, the main flash menu with all the main stuff is outdated and the plugin won't work. However, the right side still works. Clearly by the looks of the cringe news this site was abandoned in 2012 when I almost had a social life again but decided no. In this right menu, the "Created Websites" though the links do not exist, looked pretty damn cool. the Kontakt was the only remaining way to see this vintage telephone/newspaper 3D model manipulation I stole and altered that I loved.

Found these things inside:
The Start of a DOOM Site
A Games Menu with working subpages
A start page for my brother MAX
NOISEBOX Idea and Here has linkage.
book.html beginning of a scanned book that made up the website

More BOOK pages:

SMB2:Another World
Cherry Rounders
Defined Static
Forums
SMB1:Jerrys Remix
JerrysRemix II
L I N K S
Post-Release WillandJerry
Gaming Projects
Journals
Songs From Orion
Me in a Shopping Cart?

#018 is nearly the same, and of course all flash, so SKIP!

VILLE FORUMS 2013

Never finished (can you believe it?) and I had a 192 page pocket journal NEARLY full of categorized music for "streaming radio stations" from when I played with my brother on second life that I'd write down from their playlists.
There were still a ton of locations but less than the one from the previous website just a couple back that I found.

Visit and look at the prototype

#20
CHERRYROUNDERS.COM 2013

Never finished (but of course!)

In the news I explain that Cherry Rounders comes about before any huge new project or music style beginning or equipment purchase as a means of practicing things.

There's an "ABOUT" section with words

The "CLASSICS" section also has working downloads of everything previous to this point.

Peruse

UNFINISHED ABADDON GAMES SERIES 2013

I even went as far as buying a DOMAIN NAME for this "next big doom project" I never followed through with. It cancelled the next year with most of my dot coms back then. Abaddon 3 had a level you could play though. Visit and look at the prototype

In this page you can click Abaddon 3 and then demo to play the god-awful level02 I had made.

#22
ORIGINAL MEGAWADS.COM 2013

DOOM is the only link that works (can you believe this one? Naaaahhhhhhh) and this was a good start to an abandoned idea, which now looks 10x better if you look up my classic doom megasite project on the current website. STARE AT THE STUPID!

#23
VINTAGE OLD-TIMEY STYLE BUTTONS

I'm not sure why, but I did it. It actually looked pretty cool but didn't last long. I resurrected the Blot.jpg PRINTER MISHAP art for the center. Ending in June of 2013, only the two first buttons worked, as boring as they ended up. LOOKEY

#24
SIXTY FUCKING BUTTONS?

I definitely went overboard, and never even began to keep up with this idea. LOOKEY

#025 was very text-only and had NOTHING so I'm going ahead with 026 now...

#26
This one was off to a good start but I stopped asking for $10 dollar sketches from Josh McGill and we lost contact. I'd date this around 2016.

It featured random abstract "color purposes" background acrylics on actual canvas with scotch taped sketches that lasted for a little bit, especially on the current megasite project for doom as the first six buttons on the top. My wife Brianna finished the rest for me.

#27
I actually made this version of the "DeLEHRious" website in the breakroom at work when I worked at the USPS the last time. I called myself Matilda at first and most of it was weird. It's hard to believe now I was actually around people on my laptop when I was doing this and didn't seem to give a shit about what anyone was thinking. Check out my biopic too! That should give it away I really didn't give a shit at this point in life.

All the basics are here again: NOISEBOX, CHERRY ROUNDERS, The Best WILL AND JERRY website to date, and the start of many other reoccuring things like X-BOARDS (This one didn't actually have anything but a placeholder).

027-VIEW!

#28
DeLEHRiOUS WITH MORE ARTWORK

More McGill art on this one.

#029 is shit, with just gifs that say "Placeholder" and nothing else, so I'm skipping and deleting it from this website like all the others I've skipped.

#30
DeLEHRiOUS/MORE 5BUTTONS/2 VERSIONS INCLUDING 1920x???

Version One for Large Screens
Version Two for Regular Screens

I built version one with an actual LED TV I was using for my monitor at the time, while ruining my eyesight further I'm sure. Version 2, the traditional computer monitor version, is what's shown on the left. It's actually kind of gorgeous I think and I might steal the wallpaper for the current website and run it through a few more color filters. I'm on my laptop downstairs so I can't really snapshot the first version because everyone's asleep upstairs. But hey, the link is clickable! Some of the mouseover buttons on the small site are animated when you hover. My favorite is MUSIC -> 2015+. Seriously, go hover that thing! HAHA!

#32
POULTRY ON BICYCLES!!

NO CLUE! #32
#033 is the same but with actual buttons, with animated crazy shit! FUN!

#34
TRIPPING MR BURNS!!

CLEEEEK!

The buttons have glorious hovering mouseover blue versions, and this site is way better than the next. That is all. If you get to looking around you can actually see my MS-DOS vintage beast with Direct Access 5.1 running, hundreds of DOS Games, and way too many stickers from Five Below back when they had the cool 25 cent 80's sticker rolls.

#35 is basically the way too big annoying TRASH version of 034, which seems more organized.

#44
SIX WEBSITES PORTAL /w BLUE ORANGE GAMING
VISIT AND SEE!

The program I used is on itch.io and is called "Playscii." I bought it and check for updates still for various things. It can do very graphical DOS-style pixellated stuff but I just used it for the color cycling and uniform-layed letters.
#46
A FONT CALLED FABULOUS -- WITH TABLE OF CONTENTS
VISIT AND SEE! This was once chaos all on one page though it did have a table of contents too. Now it's cleaner with the same. Bee's Instagram (the last one) no longer exists. The pages match and use a font on flamingtext.com called 'Fabulous' so I nicknamed this one in my files "The Fabulous One" when the site was looked for/referred to.
#47
JULY 2018 - GRAPHICAL MAIN MENU FOR VARIOUS SUBPAGES
VISIT AND SEE! This site featured graphical panels for 12 subsections each on a page, with a text main menu within the page for quick access to other pages. The pages included: THE RUMOR MILL (updates feed and news), THE AUTHOR (The man behind the curtain), THE SHACK (studio & office shed), PROJECT WARLOCK (first professional game soundtrack), THE NOISE DIARIES (2000-2005 and modern guitar noise tracks), 8-BIT ARMAGEDDON (programmed synth arrangements), FIRST SOUNDTRACKS (college macromedia games & lokust sun), CLASSIC DOOM STUFF (it's still relevant these years, 50,000 mods strong), GAME ATTEMPTS & MODS (Mario hacks and doom for now), HOW TO DO STUFF (currently just setting up retropie on a raspberry pi), WILL AND JERRY (comedic duo) and CESSPOOL OF LINKS (quite a few links, and it will grow).
#48
AUGUST 2018 - BRINGING BACK THE HORIZONTAL MENU!
VISIT AND SEE!

Most of the inner subpages don't work. The menu and sub-menu options were pretty planned out and it's rather large. It just didn't last very long! Click to see yourself.
The main stuff: NEWS ABOUT SYNTH NOISE SDTRK GAMES HOWTO WEIRD LINKS and EMAIL

Some of the pages are unique compared to their future and past counterparts.
#49
SEPTEMBER 2018 - COPY OF 2015 DELEHRIOUS
VISIT AND SEE! THE deLEHRious logo was made by Stephen Bracy, who quit facebook, and I've lost all contact with. He did the logo itself and I threw together the glitchy stuff. To the right was my wife brianna's instagram account that is no longer but she has a new one without her art. Project NOISEBOX of course had "at the time" music album arrangements. Project Warlock made up the next section, and still wasn't released yet at this point. Under that you could play some pong or snake. My mario remix was next, with a planned PacMares game that never got made. up next was a link to my doom site, an embedded will and jerry small website, a cherry rounders bandcamp link, and the about me section on the very bottom. The cesspool of links was a different page.
#50
APRIL SCRAPBOOK PROJECT 2019
VISIT AND SEE! MONTY PYTHON'S "THE LIFE OF JERRY" was the mock top banner with darkened images in the back of my family, and a hippy looking "JESUS" style photo of myself at the top giving a rock on symbol. There was a table of YEARS you could pick from, and so many index cards were handwritten to make up this page. There were QUITE A FEW photos of things and screenshots of old pages as well. "Future Plans" are always fun to have on my websites, because they end up completely different things.
#51
VHS TAPES BANNER/SINGLE-TREE PULL DOWN MENU
VISIT AND SEE! I borrowed some stuff from previous websites, like the "four polaroids" studio pics under "about myself" and a couple of pics from childhood for no reason at all. This was after Project Warlock was released, so the page reflected that of course. I was pretty proud of the amount of links we had to us and youtube tributes. The album setups were outdated, and the youtube video links to a video that I'm unsure of what it was. Physically CDs were promised "this year" though I've learned now not to have release dates or promise anything because now I work too damn much ;) "OTHER" housed the blackjack and flash games from college, the mario hack, loki's realm ost soundtrack, and invasion of the zobs 2017 off of itch.io. The link for the Loki sdtrk still works even though it's now unlisted on the site.

SEVERAL 5-LETTER RAINBOJAVA BUTTONS
One news update from October 17, 2019 explaining what's here. A noteworthy change from any other site would be details under 'video' on the 'Disillusionment' video for MAKINA, you know, the silent film one. The Noise diaries had 8 eps. These are the old drafts. I don't know which ones are still hidden away on bandcamp. RETRO has my video about the Raspberry Pi and setting up retropie (and me playing). The RAVEN site begins with this website. There's also a working old forum no one ever came to.

Visit it and see

PERSONAL WEBSITE OF JERRY LEHR JR
Semi-5 Letter page. The left and right 150x50 buttons are back!!! Now with all my wife's artwork! The updates area spans the era January/February 2020. I must have changed my mind pretty quick though I'm not sure why.

STILL EXISTS ON GEOCITIES.WS
Check out the version on jerrylehr.com or just directly visit the one hosted on geocities.ws

"Hello, Goodbye" is where I moved my cbox to the front for more messages to happen. It's now on JERRY -> WRITE tucked away for some reason. "The News Diary" is where the updates on the beginning of this website begin down in January of 2021. "About the Author" is much better than previous, as the previous ones usually didn't exist. This also has my favorite pic of myself in a while, and normally I don't do pics. "Jerry Lehr Music" encases EVERYTHING music I've done except the next button, "Project Warlock" The warlock site was getting pretty cool, and now that I write this I'm about to switch my focus to the Buckshot Software website after these abandoned sites are all written out. "Other Game Stuff" is the best part, along with my wife's art page finally having a makeover. "the OLD FILES ARCHIVE" no longer exists at the address it points to, but will on my current site soon.

ORANGE DELEHRIOUS WEBSITES, AGAIN
There were three archived from different but similar times. One was a single page if that version graced these three, I'm not sure I'm in a hurry. #60 is basically the final draft of these, below. Upon further looking its #59, set up with blocks like an actual PHP website or something, or CSS. I just handwrote all of it.

SINGLE-PAGE BEAUTY!!
This website won #1 on the neo-neighborhoods lunar awards. For details check out START -> PROPS on the current website. This all existed on one page. Every section had a different design and it's definitely worth looking at, as most of the content is pretty up to date. 63
